In the „Wild West“ – IGG at IECA Conference in Texas
From the 16th until the 19th of Februrary the Internationale Geotextil GmbH visited the Environmental Connection Conference of the IECA (International Erosion Control Association) in San Antonio, Texas. Together with FiNN, the market leader for HydroSeeder®, IGG and the other companies of the Roess Nature Group presented their extensive product and service portfolio.
Training in the field of hydroseeding at the DEULA Training Centre in Kempen
Holger Neisser (International Geotextile GmbH, Schmallenberg) handed over a new FiNN T30 HydroSeeder to Hubert Heyer and Oliver Klesel from DEULA Rheinland GmbH on November 11. The Training Centre in Kempen now has Germany's first machine for hydroseeding training.

Flood control in practice – Talk by Reinhold Neisser
At the symposium “Securing of dams, dykes and weirs” of the institute for geotechnical engineering at the University of Siegen, Reinhold Neisser reported about flood control in practice.
Reinhold Neisser presented the construction of a flood control channel near Rees on the Lower Rhine in the district of Kleve as one of the most challenging projects of technical flood control.
Landscaping days 2015: Mulch-fleece reduces maintenance effort
“Wishes, values, change –gardeners and landscapers are challenged” was the topic of this year’s landscaping days in Veitshöchheim.
The symposium with accompanying exhibition was held for the 47th time and is visited by about 700 people every year. The organizers are the Verband ehemaliger Veitshöchheimer e.V., the VGL Bayern e.V., and the landscape management department of the Bavarian regional office for viniculture and gardening.
HydroSeeder FINN T 170 handed over to MIBRAG
On the 16th Februrary 2015 the Internationale Geotextil GmbH handed over a HydroSeeder FINN T 170 (tank capacity ca. 6.600 litres) with Cummins diesel engine to the Mitteldeutsche Braunkohlegesellschaft mbH.
The exploration and dewatering division’s drilling department of MIBRAGS’s open pit mining operation will use the HydroSeeder for the rinsing of the boreholes in reconnaissance drilling in the open pit mining operations Profen and Vereinigtes Schleenhain.
Holger Neisser new 1st chairperson of the EFEB
As part of the 10th General Meeting in mid-January, the European Federation for Erosion Control and Bioengineering e.V. (EFEB, in German: Europäischer Fachverband für Erosionsschutz und Begrünung e.V.) unanimously elected Mr. Holger Neisser of the Internationale Geotextil GmbH (Schmallenberg) as the new chairperson. Previously Mr. Neisser had held the position of vice chairperson for 3 years. “I am looking forward to executing my new role in this young and dynamic organization.” says Holger Neisser.
Dust protection with helicopter in open-pit mining Vereinigtes Schleenhain
The open-pit mining Vereinigtes Schleenhain is located south of Leipzig and comprises the working areas Schleenhain, Peres and Groitzscher Dreieck.
Due to several storm-like gusts of wind in April and Mai 2014 the pollution by coal dust rose unusually in the surrounding municipalities.
