Holger Neisser (International Geotextile GmbH, Schmallenberg) handed over a new FiNN T30 HydroSeeder to Hubert Heyer and Oliver Klesel from DEULA Rheinland GmbH on November 11. The Training Centre in Kempen now has Germany's first machine for hydroseeding training.
Starting now, annually around 500 horticulture and landscaping trainees will have the opportunity to get familiar with the increasingly popular technique of hydroseeding and the required equipment and materials in the context of inter-company training.
Likewise, around 300 greenkeepers a year from the golf and grass pitch sector can have their first experience with a HydroSeeder.
Due to the variety of available aggregates, hydroseeding can be used for a wide variety of construction projects and, among other things, can be applied in the following fields:
- Low-cost greening of large areas in highway and road construction, in residential and commercial areas, or creating green areas in airports.
- Erosion control on exposed and problematic slopes, for example in road construction, in mining or landfills, slopes or embankments.
- Creating temporary dust protection walls for coal or slag heaps in open brown coal pits. The materials are mixed on-site and then applied immediately by helicopter.
- Roof greening with sedum, grass and herb crops.
In the international arena in particular, hydroseeding has already proven to be an economical and ecologically-friendly technology, although it has been used comparatively little in Germany for construction projects up to now.
"The training of young professionals is very important to us and we are pleased to be able to make the HydroSeeder available to DEULA Rheinland GmbH," explains Holger Neisser.
The HydroSeeder is a forward-looking machine and an excellent complement to the comprehensive training and continuing education package.
